Starz’ Outlander had its world premiere screening to a rapturous crowd of 1,500 fans in downtown San Diego on Friday night. But before the airing the first episode, Emmy-winning composer Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead) treated the audience to a live performance of the show’s score, including his title credits song. It’s an arrangement of the Scottish folk tune “The Skye Boat Song” — appropriate for Starz’ romantic adventure following a 20th century woman who travels back in time to 18th century Scotland.

Below we exclusively have the Outlander credit sequence, including new footage from the series. The song, arranged by McCreary with vocals by songstress Raya Yarbrough, is going up on iTunes right now:

During Comic-Con, Starz also unveiled a new trailer for the series, which debuts Aug. 9 (with a free full-premiere preview going online on Aug. 2):
