Farrah Franklin, a former member of Destiny’s Child, was arrested Sunday in South Carolina’s Horry County on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was booked at about 5 a.m. and was released at noon later that day, according to police reports.

Franklin joined Destiny’s Child in 2000 after two of the original members left the group and made her debut in the music video for “Say My Name” along with fellow new member Michelle Williams. She was dismissed from the group after only five months after missing important appearances, leaving Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Williams as the sole members of Destiny’s Child until the group’s formal breakup in 2006.
