Video: 'The Walking Dead' cast promises bloodiest season yet
- TV Show
The cast of The Walking Dead is back to work in Atlanta! Yesterday, AMC released a behind-the-scenes look at The Walking Dead‘s fifth-season premiere this fall. Based on the video, this season will be more “intense and bloodier than” the show has ever done before.
“This episode is so disturbing,” said Lauren Cohan. “Some of the the stuff they shot yesterday, I don’t know if it’ll make it to TV.”
Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, echoed the actresses thoughts saying,”It’s the most ambitious first episode I think we’ve ever attempted.”
The fifth season premiere is so good, apparently, that it caused Norman Reedus to say “Oh my God” every couple of pages, and after Chad L. Coleman finished reading it, all he said was “Wow.”
Although the cast did not give away any spoilers, they did hint at where the season is going; according to Lincoln, the fifth season is very much about hierarchy. The group spent half of the fourth season separated from each other. In the fifth season, however, they’re all back together, and each character is trying to figure his or her role in the group.
