Video: Dad becomes demon in 'The Possession of Michael King' trailer

People with the name “Michael King” may well find themselves asking “Wait, what the Hell is going on now?” when the new horror film The Possession of Michael King is released in August. As it happens, that would be an entirely appropriate question to raise.

Directed by David Jung, the film stars Shane Johnson as the titular character, a documentary filmmaker who, following the death of his wife, decides to make a film about the search for proof that the supernatural exists. Do things go horribly wrong? Judging by the real-life film’s rather harrowing trailer, we’d have to say, “Oh, yeah.”

The Possession of Michael King is released in theatres on August 22 and will be available to watch on VOD from August 26. You can exclusively check out the film’s trailer below.
