Robin Williams reenters rehab
Robin Williams has gone back into a rehab facility, but not because the actor has fallen off the wagon, TMZ reports.
Williams has checked into the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center near Lindstrom, Minnesota, specifically to a facility called The Lodge, which offers programs both for those who are recovering and for those who are long sober.
Williams’s rep told TMZ, “After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud.”
The Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society star has admitted publicly to being an addict and struggling with his relationship to alcohol and cocaine, though he quit before the birth of his eldest son 1983. The actor then relapsed and checked himself into rehab again in 2006.
