Big Brother is doing more than holding up. On Thursday, night two of CBS’ reality veteran matched its Wednesday premiere in the ratings, plus built even more upon its comparable opening last summer—viewership was up 10 percent from last year.

Big Brother had 6.6 million viewers and a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49, easily ruling the night (check out Katie Atkinson’s recap here). That trounced ABC’s Rookie Blue (0.8) and Fox’s Gang Related (also 0.8). At 10 p.m., ABC premiered hospital documentary series NY Med (3.9 million, 0.9), which was pretty modest, yet won the hour.
