Scoop: Rosario Dawson cast in Netflix series 'Daredevil'

Marvel’s Daredevil series has just filled another role: Sin City actress Rosario Dawson has been cast in a recurring part on the show.

Sources are quiet on the name of Dawson’s character on the comic-book-based Netflix series. But we’re told Dawson will play a “dedicated young woman whose quest to heal the wounds of Hell’s Kitchen brings Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) unexpectedly crashing into her life, while her own journey forever alters the course of his battle against the injustices of this broken city.” So excitingly vague then!

Dawson is known from films such as Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Rundown, and Unstoppable. Daredevil has a 13-episode order from Netflix. The show also recently added Vincent D’Onofrio to play crime-lord Kingpin on the series.
