Tracy Morgan upgraded to 'fair condition' after accident
More than a week after he was involved in a fatal six-car crash in New Jersey that left him in critical condition, Tracy Morgan’s status has been upgraded to “fair,” his rep said Monday.
“Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement. His personality is certainly starting to come back as well,” Morgan’s rep said in a statement emailed to EW.
The update also revealed that Morgan’s assistant, Jeff Millea, has been upgraded to fair condition too. There was no word on the other passengers injured in the crash.
Morgan has been hospitalized since June 7, when a tractor-trailer rear-ended the limo bus he was riding in. Comedian James McNair, who goes by the stage name Jimmy Mack, was killed in the crash.
