Samuel L. Jackson still knows his 'Pulp Fiction' speech
Pulp Fiction, motherf—er; do you remember it?
On a recent visit to The Graham Norton Show, the actor revealed that he still remembers his famous speech from Pulp Fiction on Ezekiel 25:17 — cadence and all. In fact, Jackson can recite the monologue on cue, complete with a little background music. Even without the afro and gun, Jackson remains truly terrifying.
Norton joked that the speech would be most ominous if you were a 17- or 18-year-old boy coming to pick up Jackson’s daughter for a date — but you have to wonder about all the possible situations in which Jackson has recited this speech. Who’s been on the receiving end recently: hotel clerks? Meter maids? The attendant in the fruit aisle after giving Jackson some terrible fruit? The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides…
