Get your khakis pressed and hike your belt up high, because it’s time for some Father’s Day fun.

On Thursday’s edition of Tonight, Jimmy Fallon revived his popular Evolution of Dance franchise once again, bringing in New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to help him work through “The Evolution of Dad Dancing” — from the “Oh, Stop It! I’m Not Embarrassing You” to the “Dance You Do At A Springsteen Concert.”

Unlike a normal dance party, Christie’s appearance didn’t come without some political commentary. He and Fallon compared the relative rowdiness of dances done at Republican and Democratic conventions, and things came to a screeching halt when Fallon attempted to perform a “The Bridge Is Closed” dance. (That’s a point Christie’s not willing to cross.)

In February, Michelle Obama appeared on Tonight and performed “The Evolution of Mom Dancing” to promote her “Let’s Move” campaign. Not that we want to be partisan, but we never did get to see Chris Christie Dougie. Point for the Obamas?
