Idina Menzel sure knows how to pick ’em.

The wickedly talented star of Frozen just made Billboard history — again. The original Broadway cast recording of If/Then debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard charts, the highest debut for a Broadway cast recording since 1996 when a little show called Rent did the same thing.

Did we mention that Menzel starred in both?

Menzel, who was nominated for a Tony on Sunday night for playing a woman figuring out how to make the best decisions in life in the new musical from Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey of Next to Normal acclaim, won the 2004 Best Actress in a Musical Tony for Wicked. Earlier this year, Menzel made chart history as the first Tony-winning actor to have a top 10 single when the Oscar-winning megahit “Let It Go” from Frozen hit No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

If/Then and Rent are two of only four cast albums to reach the top 20 on the list since 1980. The others were The Book of Mormon in 2011 and Dreamgirls in 1982.
