It’s a good day to be a Pretty Little Liars fan.

Hours before the season 5 premiere of ABC Family’s top-rated scripted series, the network has announced that Pretty Little Liars will receive two additional seasons — season 6 will air mid-2015, and season 7 in mid-2016.

The show holds a slew of quantifiable accolades from the network, including a cemented spot as the No. 1 series in total viewers (3.8 million) and the top spot in each individual demo. It’s also one of network television’s most tweeted about series, generating about 675,000 tweets per episode.

Pretty Little Liars has taken its place in the zeitgeist and reigns supreme in pop culture,” said ABC Family president Tom Ascheim in a statement. “I am glad to bring another two seasons to our audience, because ‘A’ has a lot in store for our Liars.”
