It’s been discussed many times before, but Survivor still has yet to pull out an all-winners edition of the reality franchise. If they ever did stage the ultimate battle royale, the question is — would one of the best winners ever, Parvati Shallow, come back for it? In the past, Pavarti has claimed that she is done as a contestant (having played three times, winning the Micronesia season and being runner-up for Heroes vs. Villains), but we posed the question again last week when she guested on Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105), which was broadcasting from Nicaragua for the filming of Survivor: San Juan del Sur — Blood vs. Water. So what did she say this time?

“I’ve always heard there won’t be an all-winners season because apparently — and these are not my words — some of the winners have been boring,” says Parvati. “So they don’t want to bring back a bunch of the winners if it’s going to be a dullsville season. So I don’t think I will be back, Dalton. I think I’m done.” Notice she didn’t say she wouldn’t come back, but that she doesn’t think the season most likely to draw her back will happen. It should also be noted that every time Parvati has told me she’s never coming back, I have told her that while she thinks that now, that she will eventually return. (There’s also the question on whether Parvati should be allowed back to play since she has now covered the show on location twice as a member of the press and that seeing it from the production side could give her an unfair advantage, although I do not believe that it does.)

But should Parvati return for an all-winners season, whom are the players she’d most want to compete against? “I would love to have Boston Rob, just because he’s Rob and he’s fun,” says Parvati. “But to play against as far as I think they would be competition – probably Kim Spradlin. She played once and won. I hope they’d bring Sandra back because she’s a really good player. She’s super under the radar and incredibly manipulative, so I would like to play against Sandra again.… I want to beat Sandra because she beat me.” Well, what are we waiting for? Make it happen, Probst and Burnett!

You can now hear our entire chat with Parvati (including how she fared when she took me on in a challenge) on the InsideTV Podcast by clicking on the audio player icon below. (The Parvati chat begins at 13:06.) But that’s not all! We’re also sharing some of our other interviews from Survivor week in Nicaragua. You can listen in on one of our chats with hostmaster general Jeff Probst, where he exclusively broke the news that Redemption Island would NOT be back for next season (after he previously told me it would be), and also hear our interview with co-executive producer Matt Van Wagenen, who shares some stories from his time on the island and the famous moments he witnessed first hand. (The Matt Van Wagenen chat begins at 32:37.) It’s tons of behind-the-scenes Survivor scoop from location and a must for any fan.
