Petals On The Wind

Lifetime’s Petals on the Wind delivered an impressive overall audience for a holiday weekend, yet didn’t come close to January’s blowout ratings for its predecessor, Flowers in the Attic.

The V.C. Andrews adaptation blew in 3.4 million viewers Monday night, including 1.5 million adults 18-49. That’s down 44 percent from the record-setting premiere for Flowers (and that’s despite Petals having, if anything, even more incest than the first movie). Lifetime will repeat the sequel tonight in case you missed out. Competition last night included a trio of big broadcast reality shows.
