Joss Whedon shows support for Edgar Wright with perfect tweet

In support of ousted Ant-Man director Edgar Wright, Joss Whedon tweeted this epically geeky show of solidarity on Saturday:

The inside joke is this: Wright directed the so-called Cornetto Trilogy, the series of comedies he co-wrote with Simon Pegg. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End each feature a Cornetto ice cream treat — strawberry, original, and mint chocolate chip-flavored, respectively. The connection was pointed out to Wright while doing press for Hot Fuzz; he jokingly said “it’s going to be like Kieslowski’s Three Colors, but three flavors,” and the idea stuck.
