'True Blood' final season trailer: The past and present collide
It’s the beginning of the end for vampire soap opera True Blood — the first full trailer for the series’ seventh and final season has arrived.
The new footage shows the townspeople of Bon Temps turning against Sookie Stackhouse as a group of rabid, Hep-V vampires wreak havoc on everyone living and undead.
Bill states the obvious: “It ain’t safe!” Sookie’s feeling responsible: “People blame me for what’s happened to this town. I can’t take anybody else dying because of me.”
The Wright Brothers’ “Blood on My Name” creates an ominous mood for the clip as Bill sets up the series’ 10-episode final bow: “It looks like the past has caught up with the present.” Check it out:
True Blood season 7 premieres June 22 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
