SPOILER ALERT!! If you haven’t watched Sunday’s episode of The Good Wife, stop reading now! Major spoilers ahead!!

Our full recap is in the works, but until then let’s talk about what just happened on the season 5 finale of The Good Wife. Thankfully, no one died! But there’s still a lot of change on the horizon for Alicia & Co. (Seriously. Stop reading now if you haven’t watched the episode!)

After fighting Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) for power at Lockhart/Gardner—and realizing she was probably going to lose the battle—Diane (Christine Baranski) asked to join the Florrick/Agos fold. With her $38 million in client billing, did she just make Alicia’s firm an offer they can’t refuse?

And speaking of our leading lady, after Finn Polmar (Matthew Goode) had to drop out of the State’s Attorney’s race, Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) scrambled to find a replacement for Peter to endorse. So after seeing Alicia at her wit’s end, she suggested she run for the state’s attorney job. And that’s how the episode ended. We’ve got Diane Lockhart thinking about leaving Lockhart/Gardner and Alicia Florrick thinking about leaving Florrick/Agos. So maybe over the hiatus the writers should start planning some new firm names.

Sound off with all your thoughts in the comments, and come back later for our full recap.
