'Arrow' bosses tease season finale (and draw an awesome teaser)
Before season finale season kicked into high gear, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY reached out to some of your favorite shows for some unconventional teases. Check out the latest installment of our Season Finale Survey below:
Show name/My name, title:
Arrow/Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, –Executive Producers
Airdate: May 14
Finale Title: “Unthinkable”
Number of deaths: 3. Ours if we tell you.
One-word tease, presented in any language other than English: Epicheskaya.
Song I jammed to while writing the episode:
Andrew: Score from The Dark Knight; Marc: “We Didn’t Start the Fire”
Synopsis in 140-characters or less (Yes, a Twitter tease):
As Starling City burns, the lives of those closest to Oliver are threatened, especially the woman he loves most. Of course, we all know it’s [Sorry, ran out of characters…]
Script tease (a line of dialogue from the episode):
“I love you.”
Location of the show’s most expensive scene:
A sewer treatment plant.
Over-used finale descriptor that I honestly think applies to this episode:
Watch it live! In fact, if you get our show to trend on Twitter during the finale on either coast, I will… (Choose one or write-in your own option E.)
A. Tease next season on Twitter after the West Coast airing.
B. Choose a Twitter follower at random to name a character after them next season.
C. Post a snippet of dialogue that ended up on the cutting-room floor.
D. Follow 25 fans on Twitter.
E. Drink a lot of alcohol. Well, more alcohol. (This is Marc.)
Serious question: Oliver has been through a lot this season. How does the finale set him up for his next chapter (obviously, without getting into specifics)?
Well, it’s hard to answer since Oliver is dead. Kidding. Actually, the finale drew to a close Oliver’s season-long journey from vigilante to hero. He’s now poised to return to Starling City ready to be what the city needs.
Optional: Draw a scene from the finale (or if you REALLY don’t want to, send us a picture from set).
