'Person of Interest' EPs tease season finale: 'All hell breaks loose'
- TV Show
Before season finale season kicked into high gear, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY reached out to some of your favorite shows for some unconventional teases. Check out the latest installment of our Season Finale Survey below:
Show name/My name, title:
Person of Interest/ Jonathan Nolan & Greg Plageman, EPs
Air Date:
5/13
Finale Title:
“Deus Ex Machina”
Number of deaths:
Um, lots. Like technically thousands.
One-word tease, presented in any language other than English:
As Root’s hacker lackey Daizo would say… sayonara
Song I jammed to while writing the episode:
“It’s Thunder and It’s Lightning” – We Were Promised Jetpacks
Synopsis in 140 characters or less (yes, a Twitter tease):
Lights out.
Script tease (a line of dialogue from the episode):
As Benjamin Franklin said, “Three men may keep a secret — if two of them are dead.”
Location of the show’s most expensive scene:
Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank, Chambers Street
Over-used finale descriptor that I honestly think applies to this episode:
All hell breaks loose.
Watch it live! In fact, if you get our show to trend on Twitter during the finale on either coast, I will… (circle one or create your own option E.)
A. Tease next season on Twitter after the West Coast airing.
B. Choose a Twitter follower at random to name a character after them next season.
C. Post a snippet of dialogue that ended up on the cutting-room floor.
D. Follow 25 fans on Twitter.

Serious question: The death of Carter earlier this season will really go down in the show’s history as one of the biggest and most shocking moments. How did you approach this finale knowing you already had this huge moment earlier in the season?
The numbers never stop. We approach every other episode like it’s a finale. We wanted this finale to really rattle the cage of Team Machine. Then blow it all up.
Optional: Draw a scene from the finale. Or, if you REALLY don’t want to, send us a photo from the set.
