Hit the Floor, VH1’s sexy summer soap revolving around the Devil Girls — the dancers for a fictional Los Angeles pro basketball team — returns May 26 for a second season. We’ve got your first look at the sexy, sweaty promo now. Watch it below. Fans will notice one new face: She’s All That‘s Jodi Lyn O’Keefe joins the show as Lionel, the estranged starlet wife of Coach Pete Davenport (Dean Cain). Other additions include Adam Senn’s Zero, a God-loving player who has eyes for bad girl Jelena (played by scene-stealer Logan Browning); and Brent Antonello’s Jude, an ambitious junior agent with mysterious motives.

The show was last summer’s top-rated new scripted cable series among adults 18-49. Cain tells EW he expects the ratings to continue to rise. “It is scandalous and wonderful, there’s a lot of beautiful youngins, the drama is good, and it’s set in a really fun, glamorous world, so I think we’re gonna pick up steam,” he says. Cain gets his first sex scene of the season less than 10 minutes in. “It’s a little slow for us,” he jokes. How will Lionel factor into Pete’s existing love triangle on the show? “It’s more of a diamond shape now. We’re gonna go for an octagon, maybe see what happens,” he says, laughing. “Let’s put it this way, when he was a [basketball] player, Pete Davenport was a prolific scorer. And now as a coach and as a lover, Pete Davenport is a prolific scorer.”

While Pete’s “inner demons” will surface, drama finds others as well. Now single, his Devil Girl daughter Ahsha (Taylour Paige) will explore a relationship with star player Derek (McKinley Freeman). Devil Girl captain Jelena has it out for both Ahsha and Ahsha’s mother, Sloane (Kimberly Elise), who’s now Devil Girl Director.

Hit the Floor‘s second season premieres May 26 at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.
