• Felicity Jones (Like Crazy) and Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies) will play an American couple on the run from two criminals (Anthony Hopkins and Ben Kingsley) in Autobahn. Joel Silver is producing the action-thriller which begins production next week. Evan Creevy (Welcome To The Punch) will direct. [THR]

• Anna Kendrick is set to re-team with her Drinking Buddies director Joe Swanberg and co-star Jake Johnson in Digging for Fire. Orlando Bloom, Jenny Slate, and Mike Birbiglia have also boarded the ensemble cast, joining Rosemarie DeWitt, Sam Rockwell, and Brie Larson. Plot details were not available. [The Wrap]

• Clive Owen will star opposite his Children of Men co-star Julianne Moore and Greta Gerwig (Frances Ha) in Maggie’s Plan, described as a “romantic comedy of manners.” Rebecca Miller is directing. [THR]

• Connie Britton (Nashville) will replace Sharon Stone as the head of a government operation in the action-comedy American Ultra starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. Eisenberg’s character Mike thinks he’s just a stoner in a sleepy town but he soon discovers that he’s actually a highly skilled and deadly agent for the program that Britton’s character created. Nima Nourizadeh (Project X) is directing.

• Bella Thorne (Big Love) will play a high school frenemy to Mae Whitman’s (Parenthood) character in The DUFF, which stands for designated ugly fat friend. [The Wrap]
