Daniel Craig, Steve Carell appear in PSA against sexual assault
Daniel Craig and Steve Carell are joining President Obama in urging men to stand up against sexual assault.
So are Benicio Del Toro, Dulé Hill, Seth Meyers, and Vice President Biden, who appear in the White House-sponsored PSA “1 is 2 Many.” In the clip below, the celebrities ask men to recognize the violence happening against “our sisters and our daughters, our wives and our friends.”
“If she doesn’t consent, or can’t consent, it’s rape. It’s assault,” says Del Toro. Adds Carell: “It’s a crime. It’s wrong.”
They encourage anyone witnessing an act of sexual assault to say something or help the victim, becoming part of the solution, not the problem.
“This is about respect. It’s about responsibility,” says Biden.
