Johnny Knoxville will star in Sick Day, EW has confirmed.

Described as a modern-day Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Sick Day will follow three friends who call in sick once a year in hopes of fulfilling all their wildest fantasies without getting caught. Knoxville is the first of the trio to be cast.

Sick Day will be directed by Jeremy Garelick, with a script rewrite from Jordan Cahan (working off Garelick’s concept), for Universal, according to Deadline, which first reported the news.

If Sick Day comes together, it will be Knoxville’s largest non-Jackass movie yet.
