Fox’s The Simpsons fell to its lowest rating ever for a regular episode on Sunday night. The 8 p.m. animated hit, now in its 25th season and renewed for a 26th, dropped to 3.4 million viewers and a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49.

But you know what that adult demo rating is still higher than? ABC’s Revenge, and CBS’ The Good Wife and The Mentalist, and NBC’s Believe, and Crisis and Fox’s Cosmos. So, yes, lowest ever, but still a lot better than several other shows on last night that are a whole lot newer.

Also, ABC’s Resurrection returned after being preempted last week to its lowest rating to date but, again, look at the competition — the freshman mystery melodrama was second only to its lead-in, Once Upon a Time.  Full chart:
