Teri Polo, best-known for her role in Meet the Parents and currently starring in ABC Family’s The Fosters, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to People. The filing indicates the actress is nearly $1 million in debt.

According to the petition filed April 14, Polo owes roughly $772,000 in income tax and and about $37,000 in credit card debt, and says she has less than $50,000 in assets.

TMZ reported that Polo also owes $30,000 to a landlord for not cleaning up after her pets in a previous rental home, a claim she denies in her filing.
