'True Blood' final season trailer: Left for dead
- TV Show
When True Blood‘s sixth season ended, we were told that the show’s seventh and final year would bring the focus back to the town of Bon Temps, and the show’s first season 7 trailer makes good on that promise. It seems as though the Hep V virus is invading Bon Temps, and the government… well.. apparently couldn’t care less.
Watch the first trailer for True Blood‘s season 7 below.
As Sookie describes another “ambush” from the sick vampires, it sounds a lot like the apocalypse has come to Louisiana — but instead of zombies, the supernatural town is being run ragged by rabid vampires. Standing with Sam, Alcide, Jason, and Andy, Sookie declares, “There’s no one left.” What that means for everyone else remains unclear.
Perhaps most rattling of all, though, our beloved Eric doesn’t make an appearance. Fingers crossed his body (ideally naked) will show up to help with this apocalypse drama before long.
True Blood‘s final season premieres Sunday June 22 on HBO.
