PopWatch Planner: 'Parks and Rec' finale, 'The Blacklist' big episode
As some of your favorite shows wrap up, it’s also time for those summer shows to begin. This week alone has four premieres, as well as a few finales. And, of course, The Blacklist episode that cannot be missed. Well, not if you want to know who Tom Keen is.
Here’s what your pop culture week looks like:
Devious Maids, 10 p.m., Lifetime
In the season 2 premiere, Valentina is back from Africa, Marisol has a new romance, and we hear there’s also a handsome new bodyguard.
The Blacklist, 10 p.m., NBC
Who is Tom Keen? That’s something Liz would really like to know.
Faking It, 10:30 p.m., MTV
MTV’s newest series is about two high schoolers who find their way to the popular cliques by pretending to be gay. If you’re interested, I’d suggest watching the pilot.
Trip Flip, 9 p.m., Travel Channel
The season 3 premiere comes packed with BASE jumping and a Snow Box Derby, so there’s that.
Parks and Rec, 8 p.m., NBC
In the season 6 finale, Leslie will make a big decision about her future, Tom will open his restaurant, and Andy will have a little rock ‘n roll fun. Does it get any better?
Last Man Standing, 8 p.m., ABC
It’s time for the season 3 finale, and there’s a mutton-busting competition involved. I have no idea what that is, but I might have to watch to find out.
The Other Woman in theaters
Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz, and Kate Upton team up for what looks like an adult version of John Tucker Must Die, and I’m pretty excited about it.
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, 11 p.m., HBO
It’s the premiere of John Oliver’s show, guys. That is all.
