Right before the MTV Movie Awards, MTV showed a sneak peek of The Fault in Our Stars!

In the clip, Hazel (Shailene Woodley) chastises Gus (Ansel Elgort) for smoking, but he explains why he really has the cigarette in his mouth.

“It’s a metaphor, you see. You put the thing that does the killing right between your teeth, but you never give it the power to kill you,” he says. Watch it below.
