The Blu-Ray and digital versions of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug have finally hit the streets, and EW has an exclusive look at one of the many behind-the-scenes clips you’ll find on the home video version of Peter Jackson’s latest epic.

Jackson’s franchises are known for overstuffed DVD releases filled with commentary and extras ranging from concept art to explanations about location shooting to actor testimonials. The Desolation of Smaug is no exception; the discs hold plenty of fun moments for film geeks and Tolkien geeks alike. Watch, for example, while Jackson directs Orlando Bloom (Legolas) and his father, Thranduil (Lee Pace, in all his blonde-wigged glory), in a heated confrontation scene:
