''American Horror Story'' to be subtitled ''Freak Show'' next season and the sequel to Lifetime's ''Flowers in the Attic'' to premiere next month
Ryan Murphy announced that season 4 of his FX anthology series American Horror Story, set to air this fall, will be subtitled Freak Show. Set in Florida in 1950, it will star AHS mainstays Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson as freak-show “unusuals” and Jessica Lange as their German-expat manager.
Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic sequel, Petals on the Wind, will premiere on May 26. The story picks up 10 years later, when incestuous siblings Cathy (Rose McIver) and Christopher (Wyatt Nash) return to seek revenge on their grandmother (Ellen Burstyn) and mother (Heather Graham). Flowers pulled in 6.1 million viewers in January.
