Does this man look like a future twisted criminal mastermind who’s an aficionado of seafood and monocles?

Here’s your first look at Oswald Cobblepot (aka The Penguin) from Fox’s Batman prequel series Gotham (below).

He’s played by Robin Lord Taylor (Another Earth, The Walking Dead) and is described as a young man with “the brains of a chess grandmaster and the morals of a jackal, Oswald Cobblepot is a low-level psychopath who hides his sadistic lust for power behind an exquisitely polite demeanor.” Cobblepot works for gangster Fish Mooney, who is played by Jada Pinkett Smith.

Gotham is in the works for Fox next season, and is a prequel series telling the early lives of many characters in the Batman universe, centered around Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie). Previously Fox released a look at Catwoman (Camren Bicondova) and Harvey Bullock (Donald Logue). Check out Cobblepot and more below:

Bonus: Since we didn’t post this one the other day, here’s Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne’s (David Mazouz) loyal servant who in Gotham is described as “a tough-as-nails ex-marine from East London.
