This year, Los Angeles decided to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an early morning earthquake!

A 4.4 magnitude quake reportedly hit the L.A. area early this morning. Just moments later, the aftershock was felt on Twitter. Here’s how Hollywood reacted to its wakeup call:

Haven’t been in LA for an earthquake in a while. Reminded me of Northridge in 94. Too early to hit the Jameson? Happy St Pattys Day!

Earthquake! I leapt out bed to check on the kids. They slept right through it, and couldn’t have cared less.

An earthquake just shook me awake. I jumped out of bed with my pup and ran outside. It was so scary!! It was the biggest one I’ve ever felt!

Earthquake woke me. Awaiting aftershocks. Electricity stayed on, so rolled with it. Imagine world w/o understanding of tectonic plates.
