Idina Menzel Performs

The only thing worse than John Travolta’s hair at the Oscars was John Travolta’s horrible mispronunciation of Idina Menzel’s name. When Travolta took the stage to introduce Menzel’s performance of the Oscar-nominated song, “Let It Go,” from her movie Frozen, he asked the audience to “please welcome the wickedly talented, one and only, Adela Dazeem.” At least, that’s what we thought he said; it’s pretty tough to understand that quick mumble.

And although I’m tempted to tell everyone to let it go — get it? — why should we? Plus, I can’t deny the genius behind Adela Dazeem’s new Twitter account. Her bio? “Tony Award winning star of Wocked.” Bravo, my friends.

Check out her first two tweets:

Now, let’s all just be thankful that Travolta didn’t have to pronounce any of the names that were actually difficult last night.
