Looking

HBO’s gay-themed relationship dramedy Looking is coming back for a second season. HBO has given a renewal to the modestly rated freshman series that follows three friends in San Francisco.

In addition to current stars Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett, the show has also added Lauren Weedman, Raúl Castillo and Russell Tovey to the list of series regulars for season 2. Production will start later this year.

Looking hit a series-high 749,000 viewers across three airings on Sunday night, and averages about 2 million per episode when including DVR playback and all repeats. Still no word on Sunday freshman sensation True Detective.
