Arsenio Hall and his talk show will return for a second season — and Jay Leno helped him to make the announcement.

In his first TV appearance since signing off from The Tonight Show, Leno stopped by a taping of Hall’s show to help celebrate the news. Here’s a look:

The Tribune station group will continue airing Hall’s show on 17 stations including WPIX, New York, at 11 p.m.; KTLA, Los Angeles, at 11 p.m.; and WGN, Chicago, at 10 p.m. The show debuted in September and is watched by 6.7 million unique viewers weekly. The median age of Hall’s show is 50.1.

“Since Sept. 9, I’ve been waking up without an alarm clock,” said Hall in a statement. “Producing and hosting my late-night talk show brings me great joy. I’m back where I belong!”
