PopWatch Planner: 'Star-Crossed', premieres, and more
Another week full of the Winter Olympics means another week spent missing some of your favorite shows. But luckily, this week is not without its moments. For one, The CW’s new series Star-Crossed is premiering, along with The Amazing Race: All-Stars. See, it could be worse.
Check out what this week has going on in the world of pop culture:
Shameless, 9 p.m., Showtime
Post-accident, Liam’s in the hospital, Fiona’s in county jail, and by the end of the hour, Frank is the one getting bad news about his health. Talk about drama.
Star-Crossed, 8 p.m., The CW
This love story takes viewers to 2024, when a few members of an alien race land on Earth and begin integrating into everyday life, including high school. Personally, I find it nearly impossible to turn down a love story between two members of different species. Don’t you?
Shahs of Sunset, 9 p.m., Bravo
I have three words for you: It’s reunion time.
Workaholics, 10 p.m., Comedy Central
This week, the guys are making a documentary about Karl’s medical procedure. I’m not sure what that means, but the episode is titled “Three and a Half Men,” so I’m not going to miss it.
Inside the Actors Studio, 8 p.m., Bravo
Matthew McConaughey is in the hot seat! The Oscar nominee is finally stopping by to discuss his career (and hopefully wear another one of his amazing blazers).
Eliot Ness: The Rise and Fall of an American Hero on shelves
Eliot Ness was known for leading the Untouchabes against Al Capone, but there was more to his story than that. This book covers it all, from Capone to Ness’ days as the public safety director of Cleveland, where he faced the Torso Murderer.
About Time available on On Demand
If you’ve yet to see this Richard Curtis film, I suggest you go to On Demand now. It’s a beautiful story of love and life and just a little time travel. You will laugh, and you will cry. You’re welcome.
The Amazing Race: All-Stars, 8 p.m., CBS
It’s premiere time! All of your favorite teams are back to take another shot at winning one million dollars. Don’t act like you’re going to miss it. I know you’re lying.
