Cooking Channel star Darryl Robinson found dead in New York City apartment
Days after Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his Manhattan apartment, New York media outlets are reporting that another celebrity has met a similar fate: 50-year-old Cooking Channel mixologist Darryl Robinson. New York 1 says the TV personality was found dead early Wednesday morning in his Brooklyn apartment. Police saw no immediate signs of foul play or trauma; his cause of death will be determined after a medical examination. (No drugs or drug paraphernalia were found in the apartment, according to the New York Post.)
Robinson, 50, was the host of the Cooking Channel’s Drink Up with Darryl Robinson, a show focused on “cocktails and conversations.” He was also a frequent guest on shows including Extra!, Access Hollywood, Wendy Williams, and Today.
