Fewer following 'The Following'
Fox’s The Following dropped to a season-low rating on a sluggish night for broadcast TV, while freshman drama lead-in Almost Human dropped too. Human was down 10 percent from its last original last month and Following was off 5 percent from last week.
Most other shows were flat or within a tenth of last week’s ratings, with CBS’ How I Met Your Mother being the biggest mover, down 13 percent from last week’s record-setting 200th episode spike (HIMYM still had the night’s best demo rating, however). CBS’ freshman drama Intelligence also notably held last week’s gain. NBC’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit special performed modestly. Over on The CW, Beauty and the Beast isn’t helping its case for a renewal with those numbers. Full chart:
