Wolf of Wall Street co-stars and Oscar nominees Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill are reportedly set to re-team for an Atlanta Olympics bombing drama based on the 1997 Vanity Fair article “The Ballad of Richard Jewell.” Fox acquired the rights to the article and planned to develop it for Hill, who would play Jewell, the janitor who reported the suspicious bag and was subsequently accused of being a potential suspect in the bombing. DiCaprio would play the attorney at his side. [Deadline]

Best Actor nominee Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) is attached to star in Gus Van Sant‘s drama Sea of Trees about a suicidal American who meets and befriends a man (Ken Watanabe) while lost in the woods. [The Wrap]

• Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) has joined James Kent‘s Testament of Youth, based on author Vera Brittain‘s 1933 account of her experiences as a nurse during World War I. Anna Karenina‘s Alicia Vikander will star as Brittain and Harrington will play her finance. [THR]

• Octavia Spencer (The Help), Quvenzhané Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild), and Diane Kruger (Inglorious Basterds) have boarded the Russell Crowe/Amanda Seyfried/Aaron Paul pic Fathers and Daughters, which is currently in pre-production in Pittsburgh. Gabriele Muccino is directing the generational drama. [Variety]

• Nicolas Cage is in talks to star in Men With No Fear, about a man just out of prison and set on revenge against the man who set him up. Unfortunately his opponent is no longer just a small-time crook — he’s turned into a drug kingpin and has also taken on the responsibility of raising his son. Paco Cabezas is set to direct. [THR]

True Detective‘s Alexandra Daddario will star opposite Dwayne Johnson in San Andreas, about a helicopter pilot who is trying to find his daughter in the aftermath of a devastating California earthquake. [Deadline]

Camp X-Ray‘s Cory Michael Smith will play a traveling salesman who meets up with Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett‘s characters in director Todd HaynesCarol. [Deadline]

• Chad Lindberg (Supernatural) will play the real-life roadie Joseph “Red Dog” Campbell in Midnight Rider: The Gregg Allman Story. [Deadline]

• Jorge Diaz (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones) has boarded the Chilean miners drama The 33, starring Antonio Banderas. [The Wrap]
