Rapper Doe B killed in club shooting at 22
Rising rapper Doe B, known for his role in T.I.’s Hustle Gang and his own Baby Jesus mix tape this summer, was reportedly shot and killed Saturday at the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama. He was only 22.
Doe B, whose real name was Glenn Thomas, had worn an eye patch since suffering a gunshot wound to the face three years ago. According to his manager, DJ Frank White of Montgomery, the rapper had two young children and a third on the way. A woman — Kimberle Johnson, 21 — was also killed in Saturday’s shooting, while six others were wounded but listed in stable condition on Saturday morning.
As Twitter obits for Doe B circulate the internet, Montgomery police continue to investigate.
