• Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma) and Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger) have signed on to star in Warcraft for Legendary Pictures, based on the bestselling video game World of Warcraft. Source Code and Moon helmer Duncan Jones is set to direct. Foster can be seen next with Mark Wahlberg in the Navy SEALs pic Lone Survivor (out Jan. 10, 2014) and Cooper’s next release finds him playing the bad guy to Aaron Paul’s street racer in Need for Speed (out March 14, 2014). • Comedian Kevin Hart (Think Like A Man) will play LeBron James’ brother in Ballers, about the diminutive brother of an NBA star who attempts to prove himself at a weekend fantasy basketball camp. No director is currently attached, but Brian Grazer is among the producers for the joint Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment project. Hart is co-writing the script. [Deadline]

• David Oyelowo (Lee Daniels’ The Butler) is set to star in A United Kingdom, the true story of the romance between Botswana statesman and eventual President Seretse Khama and British ambulance driver Ruth Williams. Khama and Williams wed in 1948, and she served as First Lady during Khama’s 14-year tenure in office. Oyelowo will serve as a producer on the film as well, but no director has been selected to lead up the effort. [Deadline]

90210’s Jessica Lowndes will play the female lead in the mob-thriller The Prince starring Bruce Willis and Jason Patric. In the movie, Lowndes’ character teams up with Patric to find his missing daughter in New Orleans’ unsavory underworld. Brian A. Miller is directing the film, which is currently shooting in Alabama. Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Brie Larson (Short Term 12) are still in contention to play Sarah Connor in director Alan Taylor’s Terminator reboot at Paramount. Reports first surfaced that Taylor was meeting with potential actresses to fill Linda Hamilton’s shoes in early November. [Deadline]
