'Simpsons' clip: Eva Longoria guest gig
Eva Longoria may have given a speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in support of Barack Obama, but on the next episode of The Simpsons, she’s taking the stage as a Republican.
Longoria plays the role of Isabelle Gutierrez, who becomes Lisa’s new best pal. However, the glow of new friendship may flicker out quickly as liberal Lisa discovers that Isabelle’s political animal is an elephant, not a donkey. Worse yet, they are opponents in the campaign for second-grade class rep. You can preview the Lisa-Isabelle debate from “The Kid is All Right” (Fox, 8 p.m., Sunday) in the clip below. Longoria isn’t the only famous voice in the episode; Anderson Cooper plays himself in a flashforward.
