See inside 'True Blood: Steve Newlin's Field Guide to Vampires'
Earlier this year, Reverend Steve Newlin met his untimely fate on True Blood. But before it all came to an end, Newlin compiled a field guide full of information about the Creatures of Satan: their strengths, their weakness, their bylaws and, of course, how to kill them. Eventually, Pam and Eric got their hands on the journal. They went through and rewrote all the things that Steve got wrong. The end result? True Blood: Steve Newlin’s Field Guide to Vampires (And Other Creatures of Satan), which hits shelves Nov. 26.
Written by True Blood associate producer Gianna Sobol and Michael McMillian (a.k.a. Steve Newlin), the book is full of re-created letters, postcards, handwritten notes, and even McMillian’s own doodles as Steve Newlin. “It’s kinda like a True Blood wiki in a published form through the eyes of some of the funnier characters on the show,” McMillian told EW earlier this year. Here, we’ve got an exclusive first look at the book’s illustrated “How to Kill a Vampire” guide. What do you think, Shelf Lifers?
