Lady Gaga will reportedly will become the first artist to perform in outer space in 2015.
E! News confirmed this morning that the 27-year-old pop star is slated to perform in space as part of Zero G Colony, a three-day hi-tech music festival slated to take place at Spaceport America in New Mexico.
She will reportedly take off from the Spaceport aboard a Virgin Galactic SpaceShip Two, and perform once the spacecraft reaches zero gravity.
Mother Monster herself has been more coy about confirming, issuing the following tweet: “Find out if the rumors are true 11.10 LIVE from ARTPOP’s album launch. Will #VirginGalactic + #ZeroGColony send Gaga to sing LIVE from space?”
The singer also sent out a separate tweet with the hashtag ‘GagaInSpace2015.’
