Best 'Treat' Ever? A Sequel!

How could a movie with a tiny masked baddie who gets sadistic whenever anyone disses Halloween not become a cult classic? The shelved horror anthology Trick ‘r Treat (costarring Anna Paquin) only landed on DVD in 2009 but has since become a favorite among aficionados. After an Oct. 28 screening in L.A., writer-director Michael Dougherty had big news: Trick ‘r Treat 2 is officially a go. No word yet on a release date, but we assume it will get audiences into that bloodthirsty holiday spirit.
