Hawaii Five-O

When Jorge Garcia walked onto the set of Hawaii Five-0, the actor’s former Lost cast made Daniel Dae Kim says it immediately felt like old times.

“It was like a homecoming,” he tells EW. “He kept cracking me up in the middle of the takes.”

Garcia appears in tonight’s episode, playing a brilliant conspiracy theorist and former high school classmate of Kim’s character Chin Ho, who has plenty of stories about Chin Ho’s past. (An exclusive clip of the characters’ reunion is below!) “I think it’s always important to get to know the history of the character you’re playing,” says Kim. “So it definitely informed who Chin Ho is and where he came from.” The same can be said of H50 welcoming Lost cast members — it reminds Kim about his past. More than three years since the conclusion of Lost, he says, sharing a small screen with his old friends and cast mates is always a pleasure. “All of us who were on Lost acknowledge what a special opportunity that was,” he says. “It has such a special place in my heart that any time I’m reminded of those times, I welcome it.”

Check out the clip below. The episode airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
