Patton Oswalt recently staged a master filibuster on Parks and Recreation, and now he’s getting fired up over an arson case.

EW has learned that the comedian will guest-star as Fire Marshal Boone on Fox’s new police comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine (which was created by Parks executive producers Michael Schur and Dan Goor). In the episode, which is slated to air later this year, Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) investigates a suspicious fire and winds up crossing paths and butting heads with Boone. As it turns out, the two have a history of not enjoying each other.

Other famous guest stars this season include Andy Richter, Dean Winters, Kid Cudi and Mary Elizabeth Ellis. Fred Armisen popped up in the pilot.

The third episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Oct. 1 at 8:30 p.m.
