The Voice - Season 14

If you happened to land on tonight’s second auditions episode of The Voice and noticed the spirited blonde lady singing Faith Hill’s “Breathe” sounded a lot like Tommy Pickles from Rugrats, Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls, Babe (that pig, in the sequel), or the voice of Jake Harper on the Two and a Half Men theme song, that’s no coincidence — she’s done ’em all!

Country-pop singer E.G. Daily (a.k.a. Elizabeth Daily and Elizabeth Ann Guttman), 51, has been acting and voice-acting since high school. Check out her Voice audition — plus a throwback to her important work as Dottie in 1985’s Pee-wee’s Big Adventure — below:

Christina Aguilera was the one who remembered Daily as Dottie:

Look Pee-Wee this is IMPOH-TANT, there’s somethin’ I wanna ASK you!

Daily never broke out as a solo artist (she signed with A&M Records in ’85), but she’s had a ton of songs in movies like Scarface, The Breakfast Club, and Better Off Dead.

CeeLo and Blake Shelton both turned their huge red chairs around for Daily — but she chose Blake.

Were you impressed by E.G. Daily? Who else did you love tonight?

Stay tuned, of course, for’s recap later on. Update: Here it is!
