Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon flash back to '90s summer at camp
If a sketch from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is to be believed, in 1995 Justin Timberlake was just a nerdy kid at camp (with a head full of “NSYNC: The Early Years” hair) and he was just like you: He had a crush on Topanga from Boy Meets World and sang Hootie and the Blowfish songs every chance he got.
If only you’d been there, too! Maybe you’d hear him one night and, I don’t know, go over to his room and then he’d sing to you, and then you’d make a joke about something ’90s related, and he’d think you were really charming, and then he’d kiss you and fall in love with you a little bit. Then he’d go off and be world famous, but it would all be fine, because he fell in love with you first.
But he didn’t. Instead, he graduated from camp (or The Mickey Mouse Club) and now sings songs with Jimmy Fallon.
