Amy Poehler to guest on 'The Simpsons'
A well-known Pawnee resident is going to visit Springfield this season.
Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler will reprise her role as Bart’s future ex-wife in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, executive producer Al Jean tells EW. In the installment, which is set 30 years from now, Jenda (Poehler) is dating a crab-like alien creature and … she’s still not getting along with Bart. “Bart is trying to get over his divorce and he does it in a bit of a Total Recall-type way,” Jean says of the episode. “I won’t give away what happens, but that’s a clue.”
Titled “Days of Future Future,” the episode is a sequel to season 16’s forward-looking “Future-Drama,” in which Poehler first voiced Jenda. It is slated to air in the spring.
In addition to Poehler, the season 25 guest roster includes celebrities such as Kristen Wiig, Daniel Radcliffe, Elisabeth Moss, Will Arnett, and Eva Longoria.
